This policy explains which trackers are set during your visit, for what purpose, for how long, and how to withdraw your consent at any time.
In force as of 15 August 2026
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you consult a page. It can, among other things, retain a preference from one visit to the next or measure audience in aggregate form.
We also use your browser local storage, which serves a comparable function and is treated here under the same heading.
2. Our principle: nothing before your choice
No tracker beyond the strictly necessary is set before you have expressed a choice in the banner shown on your first visit.
Refusing is as easy as accepting: the banner offers two equivalent actions, "Accept all" and "Reject all". Refusing does not prevent access to any of our content.
3. Categories in use
The first two categories are essential to the functioning of our pages and cannot be disabled. The other two are activated only after your explicit acceptance.

4. Withdrawing your consent
You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer, which re-opens the consent banner.
You can also delete trackers already set from your browser settings. Doing so erases your previous choice: the banner will reappear on your next visit.
5. Third-party trackers
When you leave our pages by opening an operator link, that operator applies its own tracker policy, over which we have no control. We encourage you to read it on its own domain.
Repère sets no social network pixel and no individual retargeting tracker on its own pages.
6. Legal basis and contact
Non-essential trackers are set on the basis of your consent, in accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation.
